Madeleine gives back to the kids!

Its not everyday parents hear their child say they would like to raise money for charity rather than receive gifts, but that’s just what Madeleine Sorrell told her parents as her 6th birthday approached.
After some thought and discussion Madeleine decided there wasn’t a lot that she needed this birthday, and so therefore asked her party guests to donate money in lieu of gifts that Madeleine would then split between the McGuinness McDermott Foundation, and the McGrath Foundation.
In total Madeleine managed to raise $840.00.
On Friday June 26th, with her mother, Madeleine came into the MMF office with a cheque for $420.00 which she handed over to MMF's Chris McDermott.
Madeleines generosity will go straight into the projects MMF are currently undertaking to support children with cancer and other serious illness.
The McGuinness McDermott Foundation thanks Madeleine for her kind donation.
