The support of the community is imperative to the success of the MMF. There are so many ways in which you can support us:
- Money - we are always thrilled to receive donations of money, we will receipt your donation and any amount greater than $2.00 is tax deductable.
- Goods - we make up packages for children in South Australia who have been diagnosed with cancer. These packs include toys, t-shirts, hats, books and just about anything kids love. If you can donate brand new goods for these packs that would be a great help. We also have a big Christmas party for our kids and of course for the kids it's all about the pressies! Again, if you can donate brand new goods at this time of year, that would be a great help.
- Auction Items - we are always looking for big and small items to auction off at events that we are the beneficiary of. We are grateful for anything you can offer; from a bottle of wine or a voucher to a television or bike.
- Services - if you are a business and you are wanting to get involved with the MMF, please contact our office for further information on (08) 8161 6025.
- Time - we are always pleased to have people ask us for the opportunity to get involved with the foundation from a personal perspective. We are currently recruiting volunteers to help with a variety of events.

Please call Sarah Simpson at the MMF office on (08) 8161 6025 for further information. We are currently recruiting for volunteers to help in a variety of areas including in our office and at certain events.

There is very little need for volunteers to assist us with activities that involve our children. There are however, numerous ways you can help us to brighten the lives of our special kids through fundraising, donations, services and time.

Neither Chris nor Tony receive a salary from the Foundation.

The funds raised by the MMF are directed into a variety of projects. We have recently made a $2 million pledge to help build a Single Point of Service for Oncology patients at the Women's and Children's Hospital. We are also undertaking the development of a centre for Survivor Services, which will allow the families of our children the access to complimentary services during their treatment, empowering them to take control over their treatment.

No, the MMF is in no way funded by government, local, state or federal. There are many occasions where we join with the government in providing funds to the WCH for capital works on the hospital. We are more often than not equal contributors or the government will provide the bulk of the funds, and the MMF will pledge the shortfall required to get the project over the line.

No, Tony and Chris are definitely not just figure heads, they are passionate about the foundation that bears their names and are involved in the foundation at a grass roots level. Tony is the Executive Director of the foundation and sits on the board of Directors. Chris sits on the board of Directors. Both Tony and Chris dedicate a huge amount of time to running the Foundation and raising money for children with cancer in South Australia.

There are lots of ways you can fundraise for the MMF... let your imagination go wild! We provide the opportunity to travel overseas and visit some amazing destinations whilst fundraising for the MMF. We have previously taken groups of people to Kokoda, Borneo and this year we have two groups of people fundraising their way to the Great Wall of China. Each traveller is required to raise $6500, which covers the cost of their trip, and some valuable fundraising dollars for the MMF. Other ideas include: Art exhibitions, fashion parades, sausage sizzles, golf days, casual days at work or school, donations in lieu of gifts for milestones like birthdays, trading tables, market stalls, amateur cricket match, a Girls Night Out... really if you can raise money, you can help us help the kids in S.A. with cancer!
